We’ve got another flowering season ahead of us, folks, and it’s even more lavish. This year’s lavender harvest has begun at these local farms in the Greater Chattanooga area.

Flat Top Mountain Farm, 638 Bowman Cemetery Rd., Soddy-Daisy

This 200-year-old farm’s festival opens Thursday, June 5 + runs through Sunday, June 22, offering u-picks, bluegrass music, food trucks, shopping, and more on select dates. Adult tickets start at $5.

Lookout Lavender Farm, 1039 N. Moore Rd., Rising Fawn, GA

Create a lavender bundle straight from the fields starting Friday, June 6 and running through Saturday, June 21 — the farm is closed on Sundays + Mondays. Bonus: The first two Fridays will feature cuddles with a highland cow.

Wadecraft Farms, 147 Patty Rd., Ringgold, GA

Walk through the lavender fields to pick a $7 bundle on the weekends now through Sunday, June 15. Bonus: Bring a picnic and see the alpacas.

Shabo Farm, 381 Bailey Rd., Benton

Travel ~45 minutes from Chattanooga to this family farm as it kicks off its u-pick weekends on Saturday, June 14. Plus, stay the weekend at one of the farm’s lodging units.
