Tuesday, Nov. 11 is Veterans Day, a federal holiday that commemorates those who have served in the US military.

Explore this list of specials for veterans and active-duty military members — just keep in mind that most places require a valid form of military ID.

  • UTC Mocs football game | Saturday, Nov. 8 | Get free admission to tomorrow’s 12 p.m. game against Furman at Finley Stadium. Just show your military ID at the box office for a free ticket.
  • Tennessee Aquarium | Saturday, Nov. 8-Tuesday, Nov. 11 | Get free admission during Veterans Day weekend, and everyone else in your party will get the regular military discount.
  • Rodizio Grill Hamilton Place | Monday, Nov. 10-Friday, Nov. 14 | Veterans can get a free Full Rodizio dinner with the purchase of one Full Rodizio meal by another guest during dinner hours.
  • Food City | Tuesday, Nov. 11 | Get a free meal from the Deli Hot Bar with an entree, two sides, a fountain drink, and a roll.
  • Logan’s Roadhouse | Tuesday, Nov. 11 | Get free lunch between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
