We got a tip that’s as hot as your Tuesday morning coffee — restaurateurs Mike + Taylor Monen are expanding the North Shore Milk & Honey location. Plus, they are opening a new Milk & Honey inside Market South.

ICYMI, the Monens also own Community Pie, Urban Stack, Taco Mamacita, Hi-Fi Clyde’s (plus, restaurants in Nashville).

Milk & Honey is known for its gelato, coffee, teas, and light food, but soon there will be more.

☕North Shore construction begins next week for the remodel.

☕ The restaurant will continue to offer counter + quick service but will also offer a full-service dining experience where you can skip the line and order at the table.

☕ The remodel will also include a new patio paired with a new bar program that specializes in champagne and bloody Mary’s.

If that’s not enough to warm your heart and get your excitement brewingsip on this tea. 👇

The Camp House left its Martin Luther King Boulevard location last year and is slated to open at 806 E 12th St. next month.

New details: Goodman Coffee Roasters will be running the coffee operations + Party Bites Catering will provide a daytime menu. ☕ Bonus: Goodman Coffee (Warehouse Row) also has a new St. Elmo location + is providing the new Kinley Hotel with baked goods + coffee.

Meanwhile, Mean Mug Coffee is close to launching two new stores — one in Fort Oglethorpe (aiming for April opening) and one near Hamilton Place Mall (which should be open in 2-3 months). Plus, they are hiring.

And if you needed more coffee, the new Burlaep Print and Press, which is a retail and coffee space, just opened at 801 E. 11th St.

What about Peet’s?
We’ve noticed a Peet’s drive-thru sign across the street from the brick-and-mortar location at 819 Chestnut St. We reached out about it, and haven’t heard back but the Chattanooga Times Free Press reported late last year, the drive-thru would be open in early 2021.
