Authored By Staff Report

Sonic lovers who are tired of waiting in long happy hour lines now have another option. The fast-food restaurant has extended its newest mobile app feature, called Order Ahead, to Chattanooga. Through the app, guests to build, customize, place, schedule and pay for their Sonic orders. To pick up the order, customers pull into any open drive-in parking stall for a quick pick up, according to a news release. And, for a limited time, guests can enjoy Happy Hour Any Time with half-priced drinks and slushes every time they order ahead in the app. Local users can also get other app rewards. Sonic Corp. Chief Brand Officer Jose Dueñas said in a prepared statement:

The drive-in restaurant format is uniquely designed for personalization and fast service, and guests know Sonic as a place that offers unparalleled customization. The introduction of the Order Ahead feature within the mobile app elevates these strong differentiators of the Sonic brand. Expanding to Chattanooga allows us to test customer communication and marketing of the new feature in preparation for a national rollout later this year.
