Five Chattanooga projects expected to finish in 2026

From a new Southside stadium to a refreshed Walnut Street Bridge, these major projects are on track to wrap up this year.

Get ready, Chattanooga. From new stadiums to long-awaited renovations, several major projects are set to wrap up in 2026. Here are five to watch.

Erlanger Park
The Lookouts’ new stadium is on track to welcome fans on Opening Day, Tuesday, April 14. The stadium will hold more than 8,000 fans and have a variety of seating options to choose from. This is what it’ll look like when it’s finished, and here’s a live look at what it looks like now.

Walnut Street Bridge
This beloved pedestrian bridge has been getting quite the facelift, with new decking, fresh paint, steel repairs, and updated lighting. Renovations are on schedule, and it’s expected to reopen in September. See the latest progress report.

Tivoli Theatre
The $73 million project is not only preserving the historic Tivoli Theatre, it’s also creating a brand new performing arts center using the building next door. Expect an additional theater, restaurant, rooftop bar, and more. The project is expected to be complete by mid-to-late 2026.

The new headquarters will include 39 apartments for CFC players.

CFC Headquarters/Mixed-Use Building
A six-story building on Riverfront Parkway is set to become the new headquarters for Chattanooga Football Club — but that’s not all. The building will also have retail space, a restaurant, and rooftop bar. Players and staff are expected to move in over the next few months, with a grand opening planned for this summer.

Houston Museum of Decorative Arts
The Victorian home that houses the Anna Safley Houston Museum of Decorative Arts is being renovated to preserve and modernize the space. When complete, the museum will add a new gallery, expanded storage, an elevator, and a flexible classroom/event space. Follow the progress on Instagram. The goal is to reopen by late summer.
