Over the last three years, EPB has worked to beautify its substation walls along 10th Street with murals painted by local area artists. Now, EPB has opened its call for artists to complete the final installation.

This year’s theme is “The Magic of Unity” — illustrating the “possibilities of change when we work together.” The murals will be painted on the side parallel to Douglas Heights + will feature 9-11 sections.

Important dates

  • Wednesday, Jan. 17 | An optional virtual informational session from 12 to 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Jan. 31 | Call for submissions closes

Need-to-know information

  • Artists must be 18+ and live in the EPB service area.
  • Artists will be asked to submit at least five images of their art, a vision statement + a sketch of their concept that aligns with the theme.
  • Artists will be awarded a supply budget + service fee for their work.
