From knitting and crocheting to weaving and screenprinting — crafty folks are invited to attend the annual Fiber Arts Bash at the Chattanooga Public Library’s downtown location on Saturday, March 29.

You can check out the full event schedule online, but here’s a glimpse at what you can expect:

  • Makers who work with a variety of textiles + fabrics
  • Lessons + demonstrations from the library’s 4th Floor maker specialists and special guests, like an apron sewing workshop
  • Interactive stations (think: weaving, looming, screenprinting, yarn marking, sewing, etc.)
  • A DIY sewing kit scavenger hunt
  • A community quilt project + local history quilt show (featuring pieces from the Anna Safley Houston collection)

… and sew much more. Swing by the free event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., beginners + textile artists of all ages are welcome to attend.
