In honor of the 95th anniversary of the discovery of Ruby Falls, the Lookout Mountain attraction will kick off a year-long celebration beginning Saturday, Dec. 30.
You may be wondering the significance of the date — that’s when Leo Lambert discovered the Ruby Falls cave in 1928. To double up on the fun, the first 95 tickets for select Discovery Day tours will be available for the original price of $2 + guests will receive postcards and history booklets (while supplies last) to take home.
What else can you expect from the festivities? Think: new experiences, exhibits, special edition cave adventures, and discounted tour rates for residents of local counties.
