We’re back again with one of our favorite Halloween traditions — thrifting our costumes with Northside Neighborhood House (NNH).

Whether you’re last-minute planning or want to go the DIY route for this year’s costume, try shopping secondhand to support local + create a unique look you wouldn’t be able to find at Spirit Halloween.

Here are some costumes City Editors Haley and Kristen were able to piece together from NNH’s Red Bank location.

Bonus: For more inspo, check out parts one and two of our series + make sure to stop by NNH’s other locations in NorthShore and Soddy-Daisy for more finds.

1990s look (Think: “Clueless” or “10 Things I Hate About You”)

  • You add: A crown + wand

Elphaba

  • We found: A black dress + black boots
