Independence Day is right around the corner, and to help with making plans, we’ve rounded up some local celebrations + fireworks shows for you and your loved ones to enjoy this Fourth of July.

Chickamauga Independence Celebration, Downtown Chickamauga (on Gordon Street)

Celebrate the holiday early on Saturday, June 29 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be a mechanical bull, a rock-climbing wall, live music, and a fireworks show.

Pops on the River, Coolidge Park

This beloved celebration will kick off on Wednesday, July 3 at 4:30 p.m. with a free outdoor concert by Love, Peace & Happiness, a performance by the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera, and a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. Bonus: Food + drinks will be available to purchase on-site.

Collegedale Freedom Festival, The Commons, Collegedale

The City of Collegedale will celebrate Independence Day on Wednesday, July 3 beginning at 4 p.m. Expect live music, a variety of food vendors, and free activities for the kiddos to enjoy — the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.

July 4th Celebration, Downtown Dunlap, Dunlap

Come out to the Fourth of July Parade on Thursday, July 4 beginning at 9 a.m. Following the parade, folks can enjoy festivities in Harris Park and the day will end with a fireworks show at dusk.

Independence Day Fireworks, AT&T Field

Join the Chattanooga Lookouts on Thursday, July 4 for a postgame fireworks show. Tickets start at $8.

Soddy-Daisy Independence Celebration, Soddy Lake Park, Soddy-Daisy

Enjoy an all-day celebration on Saturday, July 6 beginning at 9 a.m. Come out for food trucks, games for the kids, a petting zoo, a car show, vendors, live music, and a fireworks show when the sun sets. Entry is free.

Fireworks Fest, The Colonnade, Ringgold, GA

This annual celebration on Saturday, July 6 will take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. featuring a makers market, kids zone, food trucks, and a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Lakesite Freedom Celebration, Dallas Bay Church, Hixson

The City of Lakesite will gather on Saturday, July 6 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for its Independence Day celebration. Entry to the event is free, and there will be activities for the kids and food and drink available for purchase. The fireworks show will begin at 9:45 p.m.

Carnival Americana, McLemore Club, Rising Fawn, GA

Head to this mountaintop resort on Saturday, July 6 beginning at 6 p.m. for live music, an inflatable sports challenge and bounce house, a dunk tank, and food + drink. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at $20.
