Batter up, we’ve got the latest news on the South Broad stadium — or should we say Erlanger Park?

The readers who took our recent poll might be surprised, since no one guessed Erlanger. And for our loyal Instagram followers — we see and hear your feedback. So, let’s get into what’s behind buying the naming rights to the stadium.

President + CEO of Erlanger Jim Coleman Jr. said that the healthcare foundation would work to provide healthy food options in the dining spaces, host fitness programs, and provide benefits for Erlanger’s network.

The branding reveal also comes with a new website to keep folks updated on this development that’s been years in the making. You can see the up-to-date renderings, a live stream of the construction + a flythrough rendering video to prepare for what a typical game day could look like.

Check out these details you can anticipate when the multi-use venue opens in spring of 2026.

Seating
The nine-acre park for Foundry Field will offer more than just bleachers + seats for you to enjoy. Here’s where we’ll be watching a game:

  • Home Plate Club | For season ticket holders, featuring private, air-conditioned viewing with bar service
  • Berm | Atop the left field wall, perfect for blankets and family fun + the most affordable tickets
  • Cabanas | Upscale experience in right-centerfield for 12 people + full wait service
  • Field Boxes and Half Rounds | Small private area for groups of four with full service

Venues
These spaces will be available to rent out for events + group seating options for the games. Our eyes are on:

Patten Shop, a building that was built in 1936, will feature over 17,000 sqft of indoor space + a 7,000-sqft patio area. The revitalized site will contain its original exposed brick walls, large windows, and an exposed steel beam roof structure.

Then you have the Powerhouse, the oldest structure at the foundry site that dates back to 1882. This space will be the main entrance to Erlanger Park with 4,000 sqft of indoor space and a 3,000-sqft covered deck (split between two levels).
