It’s not every day that a TV and internet provider throws a free community festival for its customers. But Chattanooga isn’t your typical mid-sized city, and EPB isn’t your typical service provider.

Organizers told us the EPB Big Gig festival is intended to be a massive “thank you” to their customers (EPB calls its customers neighbors) in the heart of our hometown.

As the area’s sole electric power provider, residents in the 600-square-mile service area have a long history with EPB. 💡 Since launching its fiber optics services in 2009, they have won about 55% of the homes and businesses in their service area... and they’re entering the home stretch to add their 100,000th fiber customer. 📈

Those are a lot of subscribers in 9 years, and we reckon that’s as good a reason as any to throw a party.

We’re told the festival will have music, lumberjacks and entertainment for the whole family—all free. 🎉
