Match your vibe to these Chattanooga beer gardens

When you think of cracking open a cold one — what type of setting are you envisioning?

Which beer garden best suits your mood?

While beer is one of those drinks that is fitting for any season, we prefer our brews local + being sipped on in the sun of a beer garden.

Here are five beer gardens based on unique drinking vibes.

When you prefer a cold one with a game on
Shady’s Corner, located on Cemetery Avenue, offers an outdoor haven for those 21+. The large, turfed area features booths and picnic tables, a secondary outdoor bar + TVs with the biggest games happening.

When your pup is your drinking buddy
What’s better than a dog park and a beer garden? Play Wash Pint’s outdoor space offers fun in the Southside for your fur friend and yourself by having a full tap + beer cart, allowing you both to play your own version of fetch.

When you’re looking for a family affair
The Central Avenue location of Oddstory Brewing Co. is perfect for larger groups to sit outside and enjoy brews made right inside — the kiddos can even get a little hoppy themselves with the swinging benches + lawn games.

When you’re looking for a smaller type of buzz
Leroy’s Beer Lounge is known for keeping the NorthShore “funky, one beer at a time” — offering 24 tap options that you can take out on the smaller patio/garden area equipped with a fire pit.

When drinking makes you want to throw something
... we’re talking in the fun way, of course. Tanasi Brewing & Supplies recently relocated to Hixson Pike, creating a new beer garden that features a disc golf course, cornhole boards + Ring-on-a-String — there’s even an enclosed dog park.

Bonus: We know there’s a lot of love for our local breweries — just see for yourself.
