Youn Adult author Will Walton will discuss and sign his new book on Saturday. “I Felt A Funeral In My Brain” is “an astonishing novel about navigating death and navigating life, at a time when the only map you have is the one you can draw for yourself.” The story, a novel in verse, is about a boy navigating death, life, grief, being queer, and the poetry we find when we most need it. His work has been compared to YA contemporary giants like John Corey Whaley, Nick Burd and John Green. Walton will offer a discussion about the book at 4:30 p.m. followed by a signing. Local YA author Matt Hubbard will lead the conversation. Hubbard is a Chattanooga native who has signed with Writers House Literary Agency in NYC for his forthcoming Young Adult novel. Admission is free. Starline Books is located at 1467 Market St.
