Welcome to a new week, Chattanooga. It’s hard to believe that we’re already through the Easter holiday. It’s been a busy month already. We hope you found all the eggs you could find + enjoyed the balmy spring-like weather.

As we are always focused on being present, below are our top MustDo’s for this week. From blissful string music to an adult field day, there’s plenty to get into. And, of course, it’s the best weekend of the year for cornbread lovers.

String Theory: David Finckel, Wu Han, and Gloria Chien | Tue., April 23 | 6:30 p.m. | Hunter Museum of American Art, 10 Bluff View Ave. | $10-$45 | The final String Theory performance of the season feat. David Finckel and Wu Han.

José Valentino: Farewell performance | Wed., April 23 | 7 p.m. | Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave. | $5 | Internationally-acclaimed recording and performing artist is on his final tour.

Darlingside with Wiles | Thu., April 25 | 7-9 p.m. | Songbirds North, 35 Station St. | $20 |The Boston-based quartet performs at the intimate venue.

Chattanooga’s Eco Field Day! | Fri., April 26 | 11 a.m.-3 p.m. | Miller Park, 910 Market St. | Register | An eco-themed field day will challenge corporate and adult teams in 10 different activities.

Independent Bookstore Day | Sat., April 27 | 10 a.m.-6 p.m. | Star Line Books, 1467 Market Street Suite 106 | Special discounts and activities at Star Line Books in honor of Independent Bookstore Day.

HullaBOWLoo | Sat., April 27 | 6-11 p.m. | The Chattanooga Area Food Bank, 2009 Curtain Pole Rd. | $100 | Chattanooga Area Food Bank’s fundraising event will include food, live music + an auction.

National Cornbread Festival | Sat., April 27 + Sun., April 28 | 9 a.m.-5 p.m. | 12th Stree, South Pittsburg | $7 | The annual celebration of cornbread in the quaint town of South Pittsburg. Check out the full schedule here.
