Hiya, Nooga. 👋 Trista here, and we’re coming up on Easter rather quickly. Although we’ll be celebrating the holiday differently this year, that doesn’t mean you can’t still have a delicious Easter dinner.

I put together a list of places around town offering Easter dinner for pick-up or delivery. So go ahead and start setting the table — this is gonna be good. 😋

Easter dinner

Charlie’s BBQ + Bakery | 2309 E. Main St. | They’re offering smoked spiral-cut glazed hams ($45.99, feeds 8-10) and carrot + coconut cakes ($30.99). Today, April 8, is the last day to pre-order. Call them at 423-541-1500. 🍰

The Chef and His Wife | 6849 Prestige Lane, Hixson | This local business has an Easter menu you can build from, with ham, nine different sides and three dessert options. Each dish feeds 4-6 people. You can place your order online and pick-up on Fri., April 10 or Sat., April 11. They’ll deliver on orders over $50. The deadline to place your order is today, April 8.

Main Street Meats | 217 E. Main St. | They’re offering Easter hams from their all-natural hogs at Southern Natural Farms for $13.99/lb (about 3 to 5 lbs each ham), smoked lamb shoulder for $15.99/lb (about 3 lbs each) and smoked lamb leg for $14.99/lb (about 7 lbs each). Maple Street Biscuit Company | 407 Broad St. | Maple Street is offering full Easter meals with ham, mashed potatoes, mac + cheese, biscuits, green beans, and apple cinnamon dumplings ($95). Orders can be placed all week, and they’ll deliver the goods on Saturday. You can place an order online or by calling them at 423-362-5380.

Mindy B’s Deli | 828 Georgia Ave. | Mindy B’s has the sides, y’all. They’re offering potato salad, BBQ baked beans and garden pasta salad for $23 + creamy mac and cheese and broccoli salad for $30 (each side is half a catering pan). Call them at 423-521-7932 to place an order.

Bonus: Mindy B’s + Charlie’s BBQ have teamed up to bring you a full Easter dinner. If you order a ham from Charlie’s and two sides from Mindy’s, you’ll receive $5 off at both locations. You have to have your orders in by today, April 8, and you can pick it all up at Charlie’s on Sat. April 11. 🙌

State of Confusion | 301 E. Main St. | They’re offering a special to-go menu for Easter dinner with prime rib and grilled chicken, served with Confusion potatoes, grilled veggies, mac and cheese, house salad, deviled eggs + parker rolls. Beer, wine + margaritas are also available to-go. Place your order before 12 p.m. on Friday, April 10 online or by calling 423-760-3473.

STIR | 1444 Market St. | They’re offering a special Easter dinner with beef tenderloin, grilled chicken + lamb chops, served with scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, mac and cheese, deviled eggs + parker house rolls. Beer, wine + cocktail kits are also available to-go. Place your order before 12 p.m. on Friday, April 10 online or by calling 423-531-7847.

Willow St. Deli | 1306 S. Willow St. | Don’t eat meat? Can’t do dairy? Don’t fret — Willow St. Deli is here with boxed Easter meals including seitan “ham,” sides + a dessert. They will be available from pickup at the restaurant. 🌱

Bonus Easter goodies

Rembrandt’s | 204 High St. | The chocolate + pastry teams at this coffee shop have created yummy Easter treats. You can order everything from chocolate bunnies to sugar cookies + hollow chocolate eggs. Call 423-265-5033 extension 3 to place your order — curbside pickup available.

POMKT (Powell Market) | 802 Broad St. | The folks at POMKT have put together a “build-your-own Easter basket bar” on their website to help parents get a cute basket without having to go out. They offer free local delivery (within 15 miles of downtown Chattanooga) and can ship if further away.

Bonus: They also have a free tutorial from Maggie Pate that covers how to use natural elements you can probably find in your home to dye Easter eggs. 🐣

Passover Seder

The Passover Seder is a celebration of liberation (as told in the book of Exodus in the Hebrew Bible) + feast that marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday, Passover.

Chabad Jewish Center of Chattanooga | 950 Vine St. | They have made Seder boxes to-go — for a list of the contents in each box + to order, click here. There will be an online Seder talk from 7-8 p.m. followed by the feast which you can enjoy at home with family.

River St. Deli | 151 River St. | This deli is offering quarts of matzo ball soup. You can order for curbside, take-out or delivery by calling 423.756.8646.
