Chattanooga’s Eastdale neighborhood will soon become the site of a 42-unit micro-home residential development project by Post Pro Capital, LLC.

Spearheaded by Chattanoogan and retired professional basketball player Rashad Jones-Jennings, Valentina Estates is set to be constructed at 3525 Garner Rd.

Jones-Jennings said he wanted to give back to his hometown and build a community with purpose.

“There will be green space, walking trails, dog parks, park benches, and gazebos,” he said. “It will be a little oasis inside of the city.”

The floor plans at Valentina Estates focus on simplicity, economic sensibility, and sustainability.

The micro-homes range from 520 sqft to 815 sqft in size with three different floor plans. The aesthetics of the homes are designed to mimic the names of the models.

Each home has a deck or terrace, allowing for folks to have access to the outdoors + expand their living space.

Jennings-Jones said the development is set to break ground as soon as final permits are approved. Construction on Valentina Estates is projected to take 12 months to complete.

“We’ll be selling these houses along the way. We have three phases, the first two phases of 15 [units] and the last phase of 12,” Jones-Jennings said. “Once the first phase is done, those first 15 people can move in and the community will be active before the completion.”

Currently, there is a waitlist for the properties, but Jones-Jennings said the next phase of the development includes ~19 acres on Garner Road to construct 53 single-family homes.

You can keep up with Post Pro Capital on Facebook for updates on the developments.
