Chattanooga’s Southside has always had a more industrialized look, but newly launched Mapleleaf Realco has plans to bring boutique-style living to the area.

Mapleleaf Realco’s Founder + CEO Tim Parkes said the company plans to bring a new standard of living to Chattanooga while building on the heartbeat of the city — by revitalizing historic buildings and constructing contemporary infills.

“The Mapleleaf brand vision is to create boutique communities, inspired by art and design elements from our city,” Tim Parkes said.

Let’s dive into the three projects that are already underway as part of phase one.

Madison | 1650 Madison St.

This 32-townhome gated community offers two-story units that sit at 1,628 sqft with three bedrooms + 2.5 bathrooms. The site will also feature amenities like a pool, a community garden, a pickleball court, and more. Homeowners will also be able to customize their space based on three packages — take a tour.

“For us, this isn’t just about buildings, this is about transforming spaces into something far greater,” said Cydney Parkes.

The Bolt | 615 Main St.

Once known as the Atlas Bolt Building, this landmark will be transformed into a 6,800-sqft commercial space with a two-tenant open floor plan + an open-air courtyard. See the plans.

Led by VP of Design and Marketing + local artist Cydney Parkes (and daughter of Tim Parkes), this 3,600-sqft commercial space is gearing up for its opening with five art studios within its walls, showcasing contemporary art. Calling all artists — the gallery has an open call for entries on Instagram.

Construction has begun on Madison and The Bolt. There are also two more residential projects planned for phases two + three (Elizabeth and Taylor) for East Main Street — stay in the loop with the Mapleleaf Realco via Instagram.
