Don’t feel like cooking for Thanksgiving? Go out instead. (Photo: Pexels)

I’m just going to say it—not everyone likes to, wants to or has time to cook on Thanksgiving. *Gasp* 😲

Not everyone has that day off from work or other duties the day prior, so the importance of acknowledging restaurants that are open on Thanksgiving is two-fold.

First, let’s thank everyone who is working in the service industry and makes it possible for us to get eat out and avoid cooking.

Second, we can add “not having to cook everything/at all” to our list of gratitudes because there are several options if you prefer to eat out. 🙏

Here are other reasons you may end up eating out, inspired by “Friends,” which has some of the best Thanksgiving episodes around. (If you are cooking, I suggest binge-watching these on Netflix while you work).

🍗 Like Chandler, you hate Thanksgiving and all the food that comes with it.

🍗 Someone (ahem, Rachel) totally messed up the dessert and eating out is better than eating beef + bananas, ladyfingers and whipped cream.

🍗 You were late for dinner and your friends locked you out.

🍗 A game of touch-football got out of hand, now everyone is mad so you head to Waffle House.
