🎭 Obvious Dad | 752 Vine St. | This new theater production company put on its first 2 shows this year + is on hiatus until next year — here’s what’s next.

🎭 Scenic City Shakespeare | Virtual | This theater group has something up its sleeve, but it’s leaving us on the edge of our seats as we wait for the announcement.

🎭 Signal Mountain Playhouse | 1104 James Blvd., Signal Mountain | The playhouse — which has been operating since 1942put on “Bye Bye Birdie” earlier this year and is now preparing for its winter production, which will happen in February.

Bonus: The Pop-up Project is more than just dance education — this group also does theater programs, like its most recent “Romeo y Julieta” at Stove Works.
