Hey, NOOGA. Chloé here. I’ve had EPB internet for what seems like forever. The local provider brings us the world’s fastest internet and now it’s putting that power into a brand new way to watch TV: EPB Fi TV. 📺

I recently went to EPB’s Market Street office to get a first-hand experience of the new app-based TV product. Here’s how it works – and why you should #TryThis.

Experience:

EPB Fi TV

What we tried (with pricing):

To understand EPB Fi TV, think traditional television (flipping channels + watching the local news) and now take away the old, clunky set top box and add the intuitive ease of an app, like Netflix.

With service starting at $81.98, there’s a potential to save money by going with this option + you can still stream your favorite movies and shows and watch television like you usually would.

Plus, there are more perks, including unlimited recording for up to a year. That’s right, never fight with your S.O. about them deleting your show again.

Don’t miss:

Because Fi TV is app-based, you get perks that traditional TV doesn’t offer:

  • Stream on up to 10 devices at the same time (6 streams included with each subscription and customers can add up to 4 more). Sure to cut down on arguments over the remote.
  • Watch traditional TV on your own schedule. Did you miss your guilty pleasure show “90 Day Fiance?” No problem. EBP Fi TV allows you to restart a live TV show on 100+ channels from the beginning and watch episodes that you missed up to three days later.
  • No switching inputs to go back and forth between traditional TV and other apps, like Hulu or Netflix.

What we’re still talking about:

Being able to record and save without limits is huge, but the catch there is that you’d generally need to remember to record your show. But, never fear: EPB Fi TV also has a replay library that includes more than 100 channels. You can replay anything on these channels for up to 72 hours after it airs.
