MustDo: Chattacon | Jan. 25 – 27 | The Read House | 107 W. M.L.K. Blvd. | $60 for weekend badge | Chattacon is an annual speculative fiction fan’s convention. This year will be the 44th annual event.

Dish: West Village Chili Cook-off| Sat., Jan. 26 | 12:30 - 4 p.m. | West Village | Chestnut St. | $5 | Local restaurants cook chili to benefit the Forgotten Child Fund. Participants include Bald Headed Bistro, Old Gilman Grill + Puckett’s Chattanooga.

Show: Joe Jam | Sat., Jan. 26 | 1 – 8 p.m. | Fiddlers Anonymous | 2248 Dayton Blvd. | This is Fiddlers Anonymous’ first annual bluegrass jam that will be held in memory of Joe Towns. Expect band performances, food and “lots of jamming.”
