What would you change to improve Chattanooga?

We’re sure it’s obvious by now that in our opinion, Chattanooga is the greatest city out there.

But we also know that there’s always room for improvement — in fact, our city is constantly getting better + has already come pretty far. (Remember when we were named the “worst city in the nation for particulate air pollution”? Yikes.) So when we stumbled across this Reddit thread asking about one thing you would change to make Chattanooga better, it inspired us to get the conversation going.

And who knows… maybe the City of Chattanooga, CARTA, Chattanooga Design Studio, River City Co., and other local organizations could make some of these changes happen. 👀

“More of a nightlife scene and better transit to get around downtown… More of a music scene and things to do after dark that isn’t just going to a bar.”Imaginary_Ad_5474

“In addition to better education and access to affordable housing, I’d love to see Chattanooga implement some tactical urbanism interventions to improve the aesthetic of the city...”coldcoffeeplease

And, while we don’t think we could make this one happen, it did give us a giggle:
