Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish is set to perform at the Walker Theatre on Saturday, March 15 as part of her “Funny and Fearless” tour — psst: There’s still time to grab your tickets.

Before she takes the stage, the Chattanooga Public Library will host Haddish for a special storytime at its downtown branch starting at 3 p.m.

Haddish is also the author of the children’s book “Layla, the Last Black Unicorn,” which is inspired by her experience growing up in foster care. It tells a funny, heartwarming story about a unicorn who learns that what makes her different also makes her special.

Folks of all ages are invited to attend the free reading + the library will admit attendees until capacity is reached. Additionally, you can check out Haddish’s book from the library or purchase a copy at The Book & Cover.

Bonus: We recommend sticking around the library for the return of Culture on 4, featuring Ishmael Reed, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
