Winner, winner, five-course dinner. Frothy Monkey will host local businesses Hoff & Pepper and Oddstory Brewing Co. for a fine dining experience on Friday, Aug. 4 as part of its community pairing dinner series.

The dinner will showcase dishes prepared by Frothy Monkey’s Executive Chef Chase Ingall and Aaron “Hoff” Hoffman + a representative from the brewery will expand on the pairings.

Course 1 | “Dirty Dust” crusted ahi tuna with diakon-roasted corn slaw, pickled shishito peppers + chimichurri sauce paired with the Aureum, a newly released rice lager

Course 2 | “Goonzquad’s Dang Bacon” seared scallop, green-lip mussels, and escabeche with tomato gazpacho + Dang Sauce aioli paired with the Golden Blackbird Belgian ale

Course 3 | “Wake up Call” cured confit rabbit leg on beets, swiss chard, and hominy with manchego + mojo rojo paired with a brewer’s choice seasonal beer

Course 4 | “Mean Green” braised pork belly over seasonal vegetables, micro cilantro + paprika-garlic chicken broth paired with the Monkey’s Heart IPA

Course 5 | Flourless chocolate cake with Hoff Sauce anglaise paired with the seasonal American stout (coming soon)
