Calling all whiskey lovers. Get ready to mark your calendars for the inaugural Bootleg Bash on Saturday, Sept. 9.
The folks at Ruby Falls are teaming up with Tennessee Whiskey Trail to host a whiskey tasting event featuring samples from over 20 Tennessee distilleries.
Not only will attendees be able to try out some of the state’s finest whiskey offerings, but they’ll also be able to learn about the significance of Tennessee caves in the whiskey industry.
Caves have played a major role in this industry since the Prohibition Era when the ban on alcohol in Tennessee drove whiskey makers + moonshiners to find covert locations to continue operations. Caves across Tennessee served as “hidden grottos offering seclusion, water sources, and excellent shelter.”

- You must be 21+ to attend and bring a valid, legal ID for admission
- Bootleg Bash tickets do not include Ruby Falls Cave Walk admission
- Parking for the event is located at 321 Browns Ferry Rd. (A shuttle bus will transport guests to + from the event site)

Note: Tickets are available for purchase online only. Purchase your ticket in advance for $50 or $60 on the day of the event. Designated driver tickets are also available for $20 per person (tastings not included).
