Did you know that National Hispanic Heritage Month begins on Thurs., Sept. 15?
In honor of the month, Latina Professionals of Chattanooga will host its first annual Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month Celebration. This year’s Hispanic Heritage Month theme is “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation” — to demonstrate that we’re a stronger community when we’re together, the organization will host various events at different venues around Chattanooga + and Dalton, GA.
All of the events — which you can find here
(in both English + Spanish) — will feature Latin American music, food, and special guests discussing their experiences and stories. Editor Brianna is excited about the opening celebration fiesta, and Editor Kristen is looking forward to the Latinos in the Arts event.
