Association for Visual Arts presents the 18th annual 4 Bridges Arts Festival April 20-22 at the First Tennessee Pavilion.

The festival officially opens to the public Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and continues from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission is free.

Each year the festival marketplace makes its debut at the Preview Party on Friday night. The party is a ticketed event from Barnett and Company. Tickets are $100 per person.

“4 Bridges Arts Festival is a carefully curated art show that has matured into an enriching and economically valuable community event,” said Lisa Brock, president of AVA’s board of directors. “We are proud that 4 Bridges has been integral to Chattanooga’s cultural landscape for 18 years. The festival has become an established conduit for connecting professional visual artists with an audience of both knowledgeable and burgeoning art collectors.”

146 artists will be featured from across the country. The show is juried and artists are required to submit applications for evaluation by a panel of independent art professionals. This panel, known as jurors, contemplates and then scores each application through a blind review process. This year jurors had to consider 251 applications.

Tickets for the preview party can be purchased here.
