After a big push to beat Boone, North Carolina, in Outside magazine’s best towns contest, Chattanooga is now facing Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in the final four.
If Chattanooga wins in that duel, the Scenic City will face either Port Angeles, Washington, or Bar Harbor, Maine.
On Tuesday morning, Chattanooga had the lead with 58.7 percent of the votes, while Eau Claire had 41.3 percent.
Local leaders have been sending emails encouraging everyone to vote.
Last week in the final push to beat Boone, there was a voting party at Community Pie. Anyone who came in and voted got a free beer.
Voting for this round ends May 28 at 11:59 p.m.
