Chattanooga hotel King’s Lodge will soon be turned into apartments, NewsChannel 9 reported.
ViaNova Development Co., which has done projects such as The Clemons and Arbor Hill Apartments, recently bought the property, which passersby can see when driving up the ridge cut on 1-24.
The company also bought the property behind the lodge, according to NewsChannel 9.
The plan is for both the lodge and the property to become apartments.
“We saw this apartment complex that was really rundown,” Heather Everett with ViaNova told NewsChannel 9. “It was ready to basically be condemned, and we saw it as an opportunity for some really good housing.”
